Saturday

Little Chappie

I have been making quite a few of these for my stash ready for the craft fair, which I am starting to worry about. Just a quick and easy make and one that I can sit and cut out during my lunch break at work.

Friday

Little Claire

I joined Little Claires monthly club some time ago. She sends out stamps, project sheets and everything you need to make a card. I look forward to getting these each month as its a change from what I normally do. Here is one that I received and didnt get round to doing.

Thursday

Captions Wanted

Had a good sort out of all my wooden stamps today and believe it or not, they are all scanned in. I hope to make myself a little book with the images of all the stamps and my copics....one day.

Because I had a look at them all I realised that I havent used quite a few of them, including this one. Well I had a choice, decreasing or a little play, you now know which won.

The problem I have thinking of a caption/heading. I am having trouble coming up with something to put on the top of the card which is comical. Can you help?

Playing

for a change. I told myself that for the month of June I wasnt going to purchase crafting items that were non essentials. I have been really good and only got free card from the Paper Mill and envelopes from PDA. On a whim I purchased a kit which I thought was so cute and quite good value for money. Last night I had a little play. Well I had to break from the monotany of doing all the inserts that I have to do.

Wednesday

Sunshine is back

and its lovely. Sorry to those of you who dont like the sun and the heat. To me it makes getting up in a morning a lot nicer.

I mentioned previously that I met two lovely ladies on Sunday, Jane and Tina. Jane kindly brought her cards with her to show me and all I can say is WOW. They are stunning and it was lovely to look through them all. Here is a picture of them. I am looking forward to catching up with you both over the next couple of weeks.

As a lot of you know I go to the Dabblers Craft Club and very often I dont get to finish the cards I start on the night. Here are a couple of cards I started on one such night. Thank you to Pam for the loan of the stamp and thank you to Sandra for showing Pam the card she made which inspired Pam to buy the stamp, phew does that make sense.

I have a day of catch up today, I am sure you all know what I mean.

Thanks for taking the time to have a read.

Monday

Had a lovely day

yesterday. I met two new crafters, no not new to crafting, new to me.

We had an afternoon of playing with stampin up goodies and lots of chatter and getting to know each other. Thank you to Jane and Tina for a lovely afternoon/

Here is a little card that I made to send to a friend. I made one but then couldnt stop making them. I stamped out all the images and during my lunch break at work, I sit and cut them out.

Sunday

Sunday, the day of rest

yeah right. Its silly o'clock and I got up cause the sun was shining through the windows, just hope that it lasts.

Thought I would show you this card, envelope and bag I made for a friends birthday. I saw a card very similar on my blog travels and it just stayed in my mind. I just had to case it. I am so sorry but I cant remember whos blog it was on but a big thank you to the person who actually came up with it.

Got a few chores to do this morning then its an afternoon of crafting. Hope everyone has a great day, whatever you are up to and thanks for stopping by to have a read.

UPDATED - It was Sunday when I posted this, honest. Bags are from Stampin Up and cost £1.95 for 3.

Thursday

Who took

the sunshine away? Weather forecast last night said it was going to be lovely today. I agree its not cold but no sunshine.

Here is a card I was asked to make without much notice but loved making it. I am told that the receipient loved it.

In April I took a picture of my plant with a flower growing in the middle of it (you may have to click on picture to enlarge it). A strange looking thing it was

Well it has now blossomed and bloomed

and is lovely. There are always at least 10 bees on it at any time I look. I have had the plant for 10 years, it has been rehomed three times but I guess it likes where it is currently.

Its the weekend tomorrow, yipeee

Wednesday

Pampered Chef

Oopps, I cant believe its been so long since my last post. Guess I failed miserably with the 30 posts in 30 days challange.

I shall see if I can catch up with you all and show you what I have been up to whilst not posting.

Last week I held a Pampered Chef Party. A big thank you goes to Kelly our demonstrator. The theme for the afternoon was chocolate and thanks to everyone who came along to help me eat everything. I made tiramisou, a chocolate marble cake and a very rich chocolate mouse on Friday evening after work.

Here is the chocolate marble cake I made

On Saturday Kelly made some little chocolate tarts and this wonderful chocolate trifle.

I forgot to photograph the tarts but how about this

What with coffee made by Paul and all the cakes, the afternoon was a great success.

I cant wait till the next one

Tuesday

Forever Friends

Yet another hectic day at work but at least it pays the bills and enables me to treat my daughters. Paul is home which is great as we know that his next trip will be a long one. He has started decorating the hall which usually means that he starts it but cant finish it as he has to go away. Fingers crossed that this wont be the case this time.

I have been playing with some forever friends kits that I managed to get at a great price when we went to Blackpool. So far I have made these

Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to have a read.

Sunday

New Home Cards

I have had a few nights making new home cards. I found this stamp on one of our retail therapy days out. We get up at silly o'clock and travel for a couple of hours to Colemans or Sir Stampalot. From there we normally end up going on somewhere else, have lunch out and the day is such a perfect one. We dont do it too often but I think we need to organise another for the end of July, anyway, I am waffling.

I used this stamp for a card for friends mum who has just moved home and a few for my box.

And here it is in a bit more detail

Thanks for reading my blog today and I hope that you enjoy the rest of the weekend

Saturday

OH I GOT AWARDS

Thank you so much for the awards. I shall be putting them on my blog later today.

Busy Week

I have had such a busy week this last week that I just havent had chance to update my blog. With the lovely weather we have had I have been making the most of being outside in the evenings but what a yakky morning today. Its rain rain and rain so far. Forecast is for a nice afternoon though.

I have made a variety of cards with the cheers to you set from SU so here are the first pictures. More to follow.

Hope that you have a great weekend whatever you are up to and thanks for having a look at my blog.

Monday

Stikeroos from Penny Black

These are what I call my necessities. I always have lots of these in my box as they come in so handy for male, female and most ages. I use up all my odds and ends of papers/cards to match the colours on the images and then stamp a sentiment.

Fun to make and a great way to recycle.
